Ealing Shri Kanaga Thurkkai Amman Temple is a Hindu Temple and also a registered charity (Charity No: 1014409) in Ealing, London, England. The temple is also known as Ealing Amman Temple.

Founded in 2001, this Association was established to create a religious and cultural support system for Tamil migrants from Sri Lanka in Enfield Borough.

This Association was founded in 2001 by a group of individuals, who are socially interactive and culturally involved and residing in and around Enfield Borough, came together by agreeing to create a religiously and culturally based environment for the Tamils who were displaced from their Homeland, Sri Lanka and migrated and settled down in the same area in order to assist them in releasing their pain, distresses and sufferings they had experienced in Sri Lanka.

Temple worship Poojas

Monthly special days such as Chaturthi, Sankatahara Chaturthi, Pooranadai,Karthikai Ekadasi, Thiruvilakku Poojai, Ayyappa Mandalam, Poosai, Thiruvembavai, Thaipongal, Thirunal, Chitrai, and Tamil New Year births are all well celebrated along with other prayers of devotees and annual Mahotsavam.

Temple Activities

The temple’s advancements and day-to-day functions are overseen by a management committee. Its members are chosen by the general assembly every two years. Working closely with the temple trustees, these committee members craft strategic plans for the temple’s growth and events.
